If Non-Cutlery Items
DO WE NEED PHOTOS? - SEE BELOW.
If your items are not standard sized eating cutlery pieces, photo images are invariably requested by the factory to assess the work needed. Digital camera photos are ideal, and these can be sent over the internet.
For example, images will be required for:
You may send the images of the items needing re-plating/repair by simple email attachment to Sales@SteelCityCutlery.com or by using the Upload Interface below.
Digital camera photos will do just fine. If you can take 2-3 shots and transfer them to your computer, the images may be sent to us for assessment.
Digital cameras can produce huge files which are unnecessary here. Please try to keep file sizes low-ish, preferably less than 1MB in total.
Browse to find the photo image(s) stored on your computer then click "Submit".
You can select as many files as necessary. Hold down CTRL to select more than one image to upload.
Suitable file types: .jpg, .gif & .png.
Naming The Image Files
If you know how to set the names of the image files, please try to avoid generic names e.g. image.jpg which is a common name and is at risk of being overwritten on the server if another customer uploads their file(s) with the same name. For those who are tech-minded, could you use unique file names that will help us to allocate the image(s) to you e.g. yourname1.jpg, yourname2.jpg etc.
Please wait for the files to upload; If you get an 'Invalid File' message, it is probably too large in size and should be reduced e.g. by cropping, making the overall picture dimensions smaller or increasing the compression ratio.
